This 60 page Guide was published on behalf of Ilford Corporation and relates to Seven Kings & Goodmayes as well as Ilford itself. It contains details relating to Administration; Amusements; Education; Health; Sanitation; Parks, Playing Fields & Open Spaces; Public Libraries; Recreations; Shopping Facilities; Social Life, Trade Notices & Travel Facilities.
The Guide is lavishly illustrated throughout with 20 photographs of local scenes. It also contains a number of local advertisements and a map of the Borough.

The map is slightly too wide to scan in a single piece on an A3 scanner (whilst the whole of the Borough itself can be scanned in one, some of the legends at the edges of the map are cut off). In addition to scanning as much as possible of the map as a whole, therefore, it has also been scanned at higher resolution as four overlapping tiles.

Some of the scanned pages appear not to be straight. This is a feature of the original book rather than the scanning process.
