This directory provides details of businesses throughout Staffordshire just before World War One. Information is presented by business type within town/city. Stoke-on-Trent has its own section, sub-divided by township. Walsall has sections for the town itself and the surrounding district. There are also 20 pages of local advertisements.
Some of the scanned pages appear not to be straight. This is a feature of the original book rather than the scanning process. In addition, some of the corners of the scanned pages appear to be clipped. This is a result of having to scan at a slight angle to compensate for skewed print in the original publication.
