This copy of Holden's Annual Directory is a very early directory of traders ('agents, brokers & factors, etc.') covering hundreds of separate towns in the whole of England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and also has a section for Dublin.

The first part of the directory covers London and provides a list in alphabetical order of the names, addresses and type of business of each trader, ship owner and bankers, followed by Public Notories.

The second section list the main towns in the UK and Ireland along with the names and occupation of the trades people within each town.

Some of the scanned pages appear not to be straight. This is a feature of the original book rather than the scanning process.
