Unusually for these directories, the map (although suffering from creases and tears) still exists. The full map is slightly larger than A3 though the whole of the county area fits within an A3 page. In order to ensure completeness the map has been scanned as an A3 page plus as two overlapping tiles which have subsequently been stitched together. All map scans were made at 200 dpi.
The front end paper is missing and the rear end paper has been stuck to the inside of the rear cover, preventing scanning of the advertisements upon those pages. In addition some paper has been stuck to the inside of the front cover obscuring part of the advertisement it carries.
The directory is otherwise complete and comprises: County Information; Towns & Villages Directory; Private Residents Directory; Trades Directory.
Some of the scanned pages appear not to be straight. This is a feature of the original book rather than the scanning process. Some page corners appear clipped. This is a result of having to angle the page to compensate for skewed print.
