Pigot's Directory of Norfolk and Northamptonshire 1830 (Digital Download)

Pigot's Directory of Norfolk and Northamptonshire 1830 (Digital Download)

Ref: NFK1830PGDL

Pigot's 1830 Directory was originally produced as a single publication covering the whole country. Over the years many copies became disbound and pages were lost. We obtained a re-bound copy of the pages for the counties of Norfolk and Northamptonshire (including the maps). This accounts for the page numbers being 527 to 632, rather than starting at 1.

The Directory for Norfolk covers Attleburgh (with Great & Little Ellingham); Aylesham & Cawston; Buckenham (New & Old); Burnham Market, North & South Creake; Cley & Blakeney; Cromer; Diss; Docking, Heacham & Snettisham; Downham; East Dereham (with Elmham, Shipdham, Swanton, & Yaxham); Fakenham & Hempton; Foulsham; Harleston (with Reddenhall); Harling (East & West) & Kenninghall (with North & South Lopham); Hingham; Holt & Letheringsett; Lynn Regis & Castle Rising; North Walsham & Worstead; Norwich; Reepham (with Hackford, Kerdiston & Whitwell); Stoke Ferry (with Feltwell, Methwold, Mundford & Northwold; Swaffham & Castle Acre; Thetford; Walsingham (Great & Little) & Hindringham; Watton; Wells; Wymondham and Yarmouth (with Caistor, Gorleston & South-Town).

The Directory for Northamptonshire covers Brackley; Corby & Weldon; Daventry & Weedon (with Braunston & Long Buckby); Higham Ferrers; Kettering & Rothwell; Northampton (with Duston, Hardingstone, Kingsthorpe & Kislingbury); Oundle; Peterborough; Thrapstone (with Islip); Towcester (with Abthorpe) and Wellingborough.
