Unusually for these directories, the three maps (Gateshead, Newcastle & Sunderland) were still present, though bearing significant creases and tears, when we obtained the directory. The remainder of the directory is also complete.
Some section changes occur part way down pages. Where appropriate the page is displayed in each section on the download.
Some of the scanned pages appear not to be straight. This is a feature of the original book rather than the scanning process. Some page corners appear clipped as a result of angling them to compensate for skewed print.
